As noted on the new Mozilla roadmap (for the hardcore techies) and in the News.com article Phoenix rises from Mozilla’s ashes (for the masses), Mozilla’s making a major change to direction. They’ll be moving towards a Phoenix-type browser; a move I applaud. Good to see this sort of thing going on – it’s an indication of a healthy open source project, and open source has proved one of the most difficult challenges to Microsoft. Maybe we’ll begin to see a Browser War II develop?
