Just came across Mark Dobie’s review of his experience with a CoreCrib Kit. Cool stuff – for my PC friends out there who have secretly wanted a Mac, but couldn’t afford the dough, or for those who’ve scorned Macs for using proprietary hardware and being too hard to “get inside and tinker with”… eat your heart out.

I’m curious as to how the prices on the CoreCrib kit compare to x86 components. Anyone care to comment?

I’m seriously thinking about going this route to replace my desktop. It would sure fit the budget better.
