Family Commons Update

I’m guessing most everyone’s forgotten about the “family web site I proposed”:http://sourceforge.net/projects/familycommons/; if you didn’t, congrats. If you did, don’t worry. You can continue forgetting about it for the time being. Rest assured that I have not forgotten and work does continue on it.

For the sake of being semi-mysterious, I’ll leave it at that.

  • I recall hearing about this ideas this summer. While I believe yours is more communication-based, http://familysite.sourceforge.net/ may be of interest. It was our 247 project last year and is more information-based (geneology, calendar, photos, etc). Take a look if you like, there's even a live demo. Perhaps one day the two could be combined into a very powerful and useful system. Maybe.
  • I hadn't forgotten and neither has Jill, but we both know you are really busy and all so take you time. Jeremy said he'll help you with it when and if you want him to.
