Why is it that Democrats generally seem to be more with it technologically? Apart from his “helped give birth to the Internet” comments, Al Gore is a very tech-savvy guy. Howard Dean’s currently one of the frontrunners for the Democratic candidate, in large part due to good use of the Internet, and specifically of blogs. Meanwhile, George W. Bush admits to “not be a gadget guy” and the Republican National Committee… well…
The RNC is running Microsoft IIS on Windows 2000 for their web server. The current uptime (how long the web server has gone without a reboot) is 4.26 days. The current uptime for the DNC’s web server (running Apache and Linux) is 445.02 days.
Just kinda feeds to whole “blind servants of big business” perception.
