I apologize to any visitors that may have experienced nasty 404s in the past week or so. As part of a “general site overhaul”:/scribbles/web_site_news/construction_in_progress/ I have been doing a lot of tinkering with scribbles. I have finished most of the man-behind-the-curtains work; all that’s left now is the tweaking (which is on-going anyhow).
For most of you, the only differences will be a slightly more polished look, as most of the work was plumbing, and not interior decorating. Anyhow, enjoy some of the new features:
* The re-vamped sidebar (on the right) is now context-sensitive. The content contained within will change from page to page, providing visitors with additional resources appropriate for that particular page. Most of the new features are contained within the sidebar.
* Presenting: the almost-useless Scribbletrivia! Now with world population count!
* Individual entries now contain a “Related Entries” section for easy, non-linear browsing of the site.
