Apparently I don’t post enough according to Candie. I thought that my rambling went unread, but due to the fact that I currently have an audience of at least one, I will post.
Okay so all I did today was get ready for work, work, then get ready for bed.
Since everything but work of these options seems mundane, I’ll tell you about work. No stories that involve guts or yuck today, just plain old abuse. For those of you (Candie I’m talking to my audience of uno now) who think that a nurses work is safe, think again.
Today while trying to give a patient insulin I was caught off guard by a phone hitting my chest. A bit confused for a moment, I then realized that the patient seemed to have flipped on me. So needle still in her arm she kept swinging at me with her phone. Luckily I’m pretty quick and only got nailed the first time. I quickly stepped back out of reach, while planning how to get the needle away from my suddenly irrate patient.
Well, I survived the whole ordeal and this is how my day typically goes. I consider myself very lucky if I don’t get hit, pooped on, or peed on in a day. Today was not one of those lucky days. Well, here’s hoping tomorrow is luckier.

Hey! I come and read your posts whenever you have them.
I have to say… as a stay-at-home-mom of 5 kids, I base my good/bad day the same as yours. It’s a good day if I don’t get hit, pooped, peed, or puked on.

I can picture your face exactly when the crazy lady was swinging the phone at you. Maybe you even did one of those “hands off” gestures. Thanks for updating. My spirit depends on it.

Your audience has now increased to three. I can’t say that I have ever been hit, peed or pooped on by a customer but I do share some of the same crazy people.
