As near as I’ve been able to gather, Sony filmed a commercial awhile back that involved “dumping mass quantities of bouncy balls”:http://www.flickr.com/photos/49503155830@N01/28841983/in/photostream/ “down one of the steep streets in San Francisco”:http://www.flickr.com/photos/49503155830@N01/29489512/in/photostream/. The area was closed off to all cars (any cars you see are props), nets were setup around the boundaries, and personnel went searching through shrubbery to pick up all the escapees.
I’m sure the bouncy balls enjoyed their few moments of wild freedom; wish I’d been there to see it. Kudos to the creative whiz that came up with the idea–this genius is my new hero.
