Sony has posted the follow-up ad to the previously-blogged Bouncy Balls. Once again, beautiful, funny, and a skilled piece of art masquerading as an ad. I prefer Bouncy Balls–it’s a bit more slowed down, soothing, and surreal–but I definitely recommend watching Sony paint-bomb an apartment building in Belfast.
With a little help and restraint from myself, the room was painted. This was a difficult task for me to pass off since I love interior decorating and painting rooms. So, my Mom, Candie, and I went and matched colors and bought the paint.
I spent some meticulous time masking the room and tearing out the carpeting and then I stepped aside. A big thank you goes out to my wonderful husband for sanding the splatter
paint off the walls and to Katie, Doug,
and Kyle
for the painting.
Note: what follows is probably only funny if you know Calvin Janes, a good friend and former roommate of mine. If you don’t know him, all you need to know is that he’s more likely to get into a car wreck oogling a video game billboard than a beautiful woman. Today I noticed that he had a new AIM buddy icon:

In all fairness to Calvin, the problem is probably with Meebo, my online instant messenger service. It looks like they got his buddy icon mixed up with someone else.
A commercial just came on that featured a guy talking to a beaver, Abe Lincoln, and an astronaut in his kitchen. They were from his dreams and they wanted him back. It was a commercial for a prescription sleep aid. All of which made me think: who’s hanging out in my kitchen?
