Baby, Meet World Baby Boy and Touchdown Bear

Mom went off yard sale hunting, leaving baby and I with some father-son bonding time. We chilled out and followed the NFL draft via ESPN radio; Baby A gave his football outfit a pre-season workout.

Draft Day: Baby A

Overall he was pretty pleased with the picks, though surprised that the Colts went offense with their first two picks. He was really hoping they could pick up Alan Branch… he’s a big fan of those Michigan players.

For the record, that’s a Reggie Wayne jersey. Kelly has a Peyton Manning jersey and I have Marvin Harrison, so it makes a nice little trio.

Yeah, questionable first round move by the colts. Pass up a needed defensive player from the prestigious U of M to get a wide receiver from that school in ohio.

With Polian’s stellar record (he started in ‘98 with Manning), I’m more than willing to extend him the benefit of the doubt.

Ginn got more attention at OSU, but any true Buckeye fan will tell you that Gonzalez was the better receiver. He runs better routes and should do to Stokley what Addai did to James. We didn’t take Branch, which might not be great, but Quinn Pitcock was a beast for the Buckeyes last year along the defensive front.

    Yeah, but they’re Buckeyes!
