Well, yesterday was my birthday and it was fabulous. I started out the day with some wasting of time and then straight into a morning nap. All that nothingness really can make you sleepy. On seeing the Jehovah’s Witnesses parading in the neighborhood, I decided it was time to go.
After my stealthy escape, my dad, Baby A., and I went out to run a few errands, get some Jimmy John’s, and go to my mom’s office to enjoy our lunch. My mom suggested a coffee from Starbucks after lunch and I never turn down an opportunity for a good latte. At Starbucks, I pulled up to the window to pay and the barista said, “We have an extra caramel frap here, would you like it?” This was my first birthday gift of the day.
Once we got home, my baby was extra smiley, so we got his first smiling pictures (another great gift for the occasion). Some scrapbooking and cooking ensued until dinner when my mom made for me deluxe tacos and the most amazing chocolate raspberry torte (I want some again now). Then I recieved some very cool gifts from my family and my last gift for the day was the Lost season finale. What a perfect birthday!

Great to hear your special day was so great. The little O pic is Mega cute! We wants it. And no creepy 18k version. We wants all the pixels ya got. Can you send it already? Maybe like yesterday?

You did have an extra especially blessed day and that little smile is the best gift, wouldn’t you say?

This is the biggest we have, but I suspect Roger’s original is even bigger. I’ll see if he can send it to ya.

I do think that the smiles were my favorite birthday present. I am truly blessed.
